Taking Teddy To Tennessee Travel Day 3

Woke up at 6.30 so not too early however did wake up a couple of times in night DW was up before me around 6am.
As we had a club room we had breakfast included the first photo is from the club room looking out to airport carpark with sun just beginning to come up.
Went for a little walk into the airport and stopped at car hire desk to see how early we could pick car up before being charged another day we had booked it for 11 as wanted to drop it off no earlier than 11 the day we go home as flight isn't till 2.30pm. Anyway they said could pick it up at 10 and another result in that the car is a Vw Tiguan the same as I drive at home which is an automatic as well so that helped as didn't have to think to much about driving a different car just driving on different side of car and road!

Pick is from the airport.
Went back and relaxed in hotel for an hour then went back to pick up car.
We were going the scenic route along the 321 and through Wears Valley non stop the drive would take less than an hour but we didn't get to Pigeon Forge until around 3.30pm stopping off at lots of places on the way so ended up taking 5 hours, was a nice little road trip tho.

Got to the condo around 3.30 staying up in Golfview along from Dollywood

Unpacked and then went down to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge parked up and went a walk along for a bit. Stopped for dinner at Corkys Bbq was really nice

Had the best ever strawberry lemonade I have ever had

Pulled pork sandwich the seasoned fries were ace

DW pulled chicken which she said was lovely.
Stopped off at Food City to get stop bits for in the condo then headed back for the night.

Had a jacuzzi bath then sat down with a beer to write this trippie up before we watch Fear The Walking Dead then bed after that I think been a great day but long day 😀

Looks like a great day, love the country stores, I could wander around places like that for hours - DH not so much!

It's such fun to take a leisurely drive stopping along the way to check out the stores
