15 Days Of Orlando Magic - Day 6, Animal Kingdom & Wishes

Evening Dibbers! I'm starting today's report earlier as we are back at the villa for a rest before heading out to MK to watch Wishes. I will finish it later when we get back from seeing the fireworks, so for now here's our day so far! ...

We were up early today and in the car by 8am ready for our ADR at Tusker House at 8.45am.

It was lovely being in the park before opening we got some great video footage and photos 🙂

The Oasis area is really pretty🌺🌸

We arrived in Africa by 8.35am and checked into Tusker House.

So quiet!

We are seated quickly and told that Mickey was on his way so we got some food quickly.

The main mouse arrives and signs Charlottes autograph book before posing for photos.

He shook Ryan's hand and pointed at his Tshirt giving it a thumbs up.

Donald visited us next. He had just got into trouble with Daisy for kissing the two girls on the table next to us 😂

Goofy was as 'Goofy' as always and tried to join us for breakfast.

Daisy was clearly feeling sassy today and took a liking to Ryan, she kissed him to which he replied 'what would Donald say?' She just laughed😄

I finished off my breakfast with this little lot😋

We leave the lovely Tusker House and walk up to Gorilla Falls (formally Pangani)

The hippo was in here somewhere!

The zebras were nice and close today.

The gorillas were out but taking shade as it was hot already.

Our Kilimanjaro Safaris FP was now active so we boarded our truck into the Savannah. Our driver wasn't the best but I did learn that a group of Rhinos is called a 'Crash'

Not a crash of rhinos... just one!

The elephants were busy this morning.

Charlotte doesn't like ostriches and when I spotted them I looked at her to see this!😂😂

We leave the safaris and have a look around Harambe market. Great photo opportunities here.

We start making our way to Asia for our Expedition Everest FP stopping for photos on the way.

Ah a hat photo opportunity!

Next up was my favourite part of AK.

The Komodo Dragon.

We walk up to Everest after the Maharajah jungle trek.
The walls have come town since last year and the area is looking great.

These two went straight back on afterwards via the single rider line and then decided they needed to cool down and spend a snack credit afterwards.

Nemo show next, Love, love, love the music in this show!

Our FastPass for Kali River Rapids was now up so we made our way back.

I didn't fancy riding so Ian took the kids on and I staked out a spot to catch them on camera. Whilst waiting for them I managed to book us 4 FastPasses for Pirates at MK tonight.

There they are!

Ryan got soaked! The other two weren't too bad💦

He had 1 dry bit😄

Heading out the park to go back to the villa for a rest we got some great hat photos!

Walking back through the oasis I managed to catch this gorgeous little creature on camera.
We are now back at the villa and just chilling before catching the bus to Magic Kingdom to have dinner and see Wishes, I will continue this report when I get back! ...

Made it to the Magic Kingdom! We all feel better for a sit down, a cool down and a change of clothes.

We walk straight through Adventureland to Pirates.

Only to find out it was down 🙁 We are told we can use our FP at several other locations for the rest of the evening so we decided to go and eat first and then ride Haunted Mansion.

Dinner was as Pinnochio Village Haus, I had the sausage and pepper flatbread and switched my dessert for a side salad.

Charlotte had chicken tenders and switched her dessert for a salad too.

Ryan had the Chicken Alfredo which came with a salad and he chose a chocolate mousse for dessert.

Ian had the chicken Parmesan which also came with a salad and he chose the tiramisu ice cream for dessert.

We finish dinner and head to Haunted Mansion via the Tangled toilets.
The park is heaving tonight I haven't seen it this busy for a long time!

By now it's 8pm and people are already starting to line the streets for the parade, we have a FP for Buzz which Charlotte is desperate to go on, the boys decide to stake out a spot by the funnel cake shop in Liberty Square whilst Charlotte and I hot foot it over to Tomorrowland.

The pavements are packed!

Bit of a blurry one but we were trying to hurry!

We made it back and found the boys just in time for the parade.

The pictures never convey how pretty this parade is.

Then it was time for Wishes✨✨ My all time favourite fireworks show, it gets me every single time! We stood in the centre of the hub directly in the middle of Main St and had probably the best view we've ever had.

After Wishes we thought we'd let the crowds disappear a little before leaving so we went into Tomorrowland to ride the PeopleMover.

We've never done this ride at night, we loved it!

Looking tired! 💤💤

We leave before the second parade starts and thank goodness a bus was waiting when we got to the bus station.

We've certainly had a worry free day even if it was a long one!

Tomorrow we are going to Epcot and have a FastPass for the new Frozen ride ❄️

Fantastic day Anna ... A long one too but you got so much crammed into it... I loved animal kingdom so much when we were there.

A great day. I love the people mover. Especially at night. So nice to sit and rest whilst people watching when it's all lit up so pretty.

Great photos Anna! You know I keep seeing photos of pinocchio pizzas, and they look very tempting! Might have to ditch BOG for it!
Do you buy any of the hats you try? Im imagining a huge wardrobe full of hats in your house!
