The Kuna Mahuna Croatia Holiday - Day One - Arrival

Day one - we got up at two am, which I coped with better than I thought I would, some tea and a quick shower and I actually felt half human!
Meet and Greet parking at Stansted was a nightmare, took forever to sort out kind of defeated the object but we were soon on our little orange plane, and up in the air yay! We arrived at our Hotel late morning and our room was all ready for us - it's very 'Kardashian'! Hotel Damianii...

We went down for a bit of lunch in the hotel restaurant, food was very nice, fresh and tasty - pizzas were a big hit! I was really good girl and had a tuna salad. No wine (yet)

We are off to explore the beach...

Its really good value, we had full lunch and drinks for about £6 each! Fantastic. Tonight we walked into the nearest town, Omis, took about thirty minutes, and had a nice dinner - Bethany (DS girlfriend) tried Calamari for the first time, bless her, she was so brave, she doesnt really do fish, she loves chicken (we call her chicken!) and there is nothing worse than being with adults shoving strange food under your nose and insisting you try it! She hated it, and even had to hold her nose to swallow! High five chicken, for having a go. We got her some chips instead. Now we are shattered, and in bed at nine thirty.

P.s. Wine drinking has commenced.
Steps today - 14,000 calories probably double that!

Looks fab, what's the name of your hotel please?, it looks gorgeous. Pizza and the beach look good too, I would like to go Croatia one day.

I've heard so many mixed reviews about Croatia but I think it is somewhere I'd like to try

Thank you, the Hotel is called Damianii, its small and very bijou! Slept like a log, had nearly twelve hours to make up for yesterday! Just been out to buy milk and sugar for tea. Bliss.
