Toronto Time - Day 12 - Last Full Day

Our last full day arrived! We had breakfast here, it's a bit of a family tradition to eat here at least once. My gran and papa came here a lot when they spent full summers visiting my uncle 30 years ago and then my brother did too when he spent time with my uncle about 25 years ago. The food was as good as before, although we were disappointed to discover it had changed hands since our last visit.

Back in the city we went for a final walk taking in some street art.

This one depicts migrant families arriving in Canada many years ago.

Mr Trump has recently opened a new tower in the city.

For me, there are architecturally more spectacular buildings.

In the midst of all the towering buildings is Old City Hall, a lovely looking building.

We then saw a farmer's market behind the Toronto sign so had a browse around it. We saw a bride and groom having their photos taken in the sign. I was lucky enough to get my photo just as they moved with no other tourists in it.

And again with no one else in it.

We passed the Hockey Hall of Fame almost every time we were out, and did consider going in, but unless my cousin is playing we're not that fussed about hockey so we gave it a miss.

We headed back to the condo and got changed. Then we're back out to the Go train to Mimico. We decided to sit upstairs, just because we'd never been on a train with 2 floors.

Then on to another family favourite, the Blue Goose. This is my uncle's local so we were meeting them there for a couple of drinks before going for our final dinner with them before we leave.

Dinner was here. It had huge screens showing loads of sport and it had a huge wings selection. Great atmosphere and good food.

We met this big guy on the way out!

Then it was back to the condo for our last sleep in our home from home 😥😥
