Joni's First Disney Holiday - Pre-trip

Another attempt at a photo trip report

Hello! Last year I managed about half a trip report, this year I'll hopefully manage to complete one!

Last trip, about two weeks before we went to Florida I discovered I was expecting. I had already done the pre trip report, and some of my friends and family were ready to read along. No-one knew I was pregnant yet (I was only 7 weeks) so I thought I would just plod on with it and hope no-one noticed I would be missing from all the ride photos. What I didn't expect was how tired I was going to be (I went for a nap one day and woke up 14 hours later) I also made the mistake of taking a lot of the pics on a DSLR, then having to download onto an iPad then upload to the trippie. So I only ever got half of it done.

So - fast forward to this year. We had booked Animal Kingdom Lodge with a savannah view for May. (A girls only trip to celebrate my 40th birthday which was in March) That obviously had to be re-arranged as my due date was 1st May.
We rescheduled for September, and changed the reservation to Saratoga Springs (we thought having the washer drier in the room would be needed, and with the changes to Disney Springs we were happy to make the switch)

This years cast is Me (Lee), Joni (my daughter, turning 5 months on holiday, pictured above) Eva (my sister) Ed (Eva's wee boy who's almost 2) Isabel (my mum) Frances (my 'aunt') and Roslyn (my 'cousin')

We travel on Sunday, and I'll give it my best shot to do daily updates!
