?We stayed at this fabulous villa in July 2023, a party of 2 adults and 2 teens.

The villa is fabulously presented and has everything you can think of for a family holiday, including many things you didn?t think you needed or forgot to bring.

The villa has a generous master bedroom with ensuite and direct access to the pool, there is another large double room and 2 twins.
Staying in the villa was so relaxing after a day at the parks and having a private pool and games room definitely enhanced our stay.
The villa is only a short drive to Disney properties and around 40 mins to Universal and Seaworld parks. You are also ideally situated close to the I4 and I27 should you wish to venture further afield.
There are numerous places to eat nearby (max 15 mins drive for your main chain restaurants) and most restaurants will deliver to the villa. There is a large Walmart 10 mins away and a Publix in Berry Town (5 mins) and the kitchen is better equipped than ours at home, so cooking a meal or making pack ups for the parks is easy.
There are plenty of towels supplied and having a washing machine and drier was a godsend as I came home with a minimal amount of washing.
From our first contact Sheelagh put me at ease with renting her villa and I would highly recommend the villa to anyone.

We had a fabulous stay at Sheelagh and Johns villa at the end of July 2018.

Location:

If you want to get to Disneys Blizzard beach for 10am opening you can leave the villa at 9.45am!

If you want to get to Disneys Animal Kingdom for 8am opening, you can leave the villa as late as 7.45am!

Just use Funie Steed Road and Sherberth Road (Detailed in your welcome pack) and avoid the traffic on the 192.

All other parks are easy to get to as well.

Walmart and Publix are 5 minutes away. Great villa location

Inside the Villa

Spotlessly clean throughout. Plenty of towels, all good quality and the kitchen was well stocked with plates and cutlery. Toaster, kettle, tea pot all supplied as well as a dishwasher.

There is a great games room in the garage (see photos) should you have a rainy day.

There is a large TV in the lounge (TV's are also in the bedrooms as well) with DVD player too.

Pool area

Good size pool and a lovely pool area for sunbathing. The pool was cleaned regularly whilst we were there and both the pool and furniture were the cleanest of any villa we have stayed in over the last 10 years

Booking the villa was easy and Sheelagh phoned us before we left and also when we arrived to ensure we were happy - this was very much appreciated.

What a lovely home from home this villa really is! Everything that is needed and more is accommodated for, from parasols for taking to the beach to salt and pepper for the table!

The villa was just as described and as photos had shown, all the information provided before and upon arrival was fantastic.
The details about the area and the short cut to the park were invaluable. We even had a local takeaway on one of our pool evenings which we found out about via the leaflets at the villa.

The pool is very spacious and has a lovely surrounding deck with sunbeds and chairs for everyone. we loved the fact that if you wanted the mornings in the parks the sun would still be on the pool until sunset and if you wanted a afternoon at the parks the mornings were full sun around the pool also - all day pool sunshine to suit every schedule.

Sheelagh and John could not have been more helpful in their communication from emailing before our arrival, to speaking on the villa phone on first day of holiday and last day to ensure all was well.

Just stayed here and had a great time. Very cosy . There were lots of extra little things like a cool bag and box came in handy, straighteners and much more. Oh and a teapot DH very happy. Everything was spotless. Management company very good had to call them for minor things came within a couple of hours. Very friendly. There is lots of information about the villa and also things to do etc. Sheelagh rang while we were there but we were never in so she emailed me to check everything was ok for us, nice touch. Really liked the area very quiet. Would definitely stay again. After one day back home sheelagh emailed me asking if we had had a good time . Also when we booked the villa sheelagh answered all my questions very promptly. All in all great time. Thank you

Once again this wonderful villa has provided us with everything and more.This was our second visit,and we will be shortly returning again in September of this year.The facilities for our two disabled young adults are great.All on one level,easy access to the pool via the ensuite shower room was very important,this enabled us to shower them straight from the pool,rather than trying to walk them through the villa.The extra everyday things such as piles of towels which were a god send for us.We made full us of the washing /dryer.We even did home baking in the evening for my daughter.[lots of buns].We loved the new settees and television,which was essential while we recovered each evening.We used the shortcut onto the 192 everyday,that saved us time getting to the parks.Thank you Sheelagh and John for providing all of the extra information which made our holiday just a little bit easier.We cannot wait to go back.

Well, what can I say, excellent in every way. Sheelagh & John are so helpful, the villa has everything you could possibly need. From hairdryers/straighteners, to washing machine/dryer free wifi the list is endless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, our boys loved the pool so much we had to make them come out every day so we could go out to eat! The helpfullness and hints and shortcuts came in very handy especially as it was so busy at Easter. Thanks again. If we ever get the chance to go back to Florida, we will come back to this villa.

FAB...U..LOUS! That has to be 'the word' of our holiday to the House of Mouse. Sheelagh and Johns villa was just perfect, a total home from home with lots and lots of little extras you wouldnt normally get in a villa rental such as heaps of quality towels and pool towels, hairdryers, straightners, toastie machines... the list goes on and on. The absolute highlight of the villa has to be the large swimming pool which was such a delight after a day traipsing round the themeparks, even after a whole day at the waterparks my boys were dying to get back to the villas pool!
Sheelagh and John were brilliant, answering any queries both in the UK and Florida extreamly quickly and efficiently. Also their shortcuts and tips for the parks made our life a lot easier!
I would not hesitate to recommend Sheelagh and Johns villa to anyone (but not if its when we want to go back haha! ) and we WILL be returning as soon as the bank balance lets us!

We only spent 5 nights in this villa at the end of our trip, but it was just what we needed. We'd spent most of the holiday in hotel rooms, and it was lovely to be able to spread out and enjoy the space of a villa.

The villa was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and all the bed linen and towels were likewise and of a high quality. These small things make all the difference in feeling at home in a villa.

The villa is located in a quiet development within easy reach of the 192, and very close to the Berry Town Centre area which has, amongst other things, a huge Publix and a very popular Applebees.

The games room is a lovely extra and I spent some time in there playing pool whilst waiting for the the females in our family to get themselves ready!

Sheelagh was a joy to deal with throughout all stages of booking, and we even got a courtesy phone call shortly after arrival to make sure all was well. A really nice touch.

This was our second visit to Florida and as it wasn't planned months in advance so we put a request out on the DIBB for a villa. Fortunately for us we received a prompt response from Sheelagh and John who are the owners of this villa which really made our holiday.

Prior to going we received a lot of help from Sheelagh with any question we had and she kept in touch with us telling about the essentials like superstores and restaurants in the area. It was a lovely touch and made the whole booking and decision making as easy as pie.

On our travel day all we wanted to do was get to the Villa and thanks to the directions which had been emailed to us we arrived with out hitch. As we turned in to Hill Crest drive it became instantly obvious that we had made a great decision.

What struck us immediately when entering the Villa was not only the space but the personal touches (especially the meerkats in the bushes).

There was 4 spacious bedrooms of which 2 had double beds and 2 were twin singles, great to be honest as our 13 year old claimed one of the doubles as her dressing room and slept in whichever of the twin singles she felt like. The bedrooms all had TV's and were clean, they were ample size with plenty of wardrobe/drawer space, there was even a game cube in the "Disney" room which our 8 year old loved.

The master bedroom isn't the largest room you will find but it had en suite, a walk in wardrobe and really felt homely. We were really pleased with it and after the first night slept quite well considering the time gap.

The living area, dining area and kithen are all open plan. The dinning table was fully dressed and a credit to the villa (the simplest touches really matter). The kitchen was well stocked with a full set of plastic crockery and porcelain so you could eat at either the pool area or dining area. All the usual items such as a frdge, cooker, toaster etc plus a few little extra's, its obvious that the owner looks after the villa and must spend a lot of time there themselves.

The garage has a washer and dryer and also doubles up as a games room with a pool table, air hocky and table football.

The pool area was lovely and a real sun trap, we had the best of the weather when we stayed and were able to use the pool area in glorious Florida sunshine from 09:30 until late into the evening. Lots of pool furniture including 4 sun loungers and a barbeque.

To sum up what an excellent Villa, we have come away having had an excellent holiday which was made that little bit special by the experience we had at Sheelagh and Johns. So many things are said over and over but this really was a home from home. Sheelagh even phoned us on the day of our arrival to see how things were going and if we needed anything, what a lovely touch.

From our hearts thank you for letting us share your villa and we would certainly re-book without a minutes hesitation.

Holden/French families - Middlesbrough

We have stayed at this villa 3 times now and every time we return its just like coming home. Sheelagh and John have made this villa a real home from home with lots of home comforts. The place is always clean and tidy with lots of up to date modern appliances. We never have to worry about taking things like towels as they are provide for you, which means we can buy more to take home!
The swimming pool and games room is a big hit with the kids.There is a great management team who are always just at the end of a telephone line should you have any concerns.Sheelagh always gives you a ring when you arrive to make sure everything is up to standard and is always more than happy to sort anything out should the need arise. The close location to all the parks is an added bonus, as is all the valuable tips that Sheelagh and John can offer.One of our favourite places to visit whilst we are in Florida is Celebration you should pay a visit to the diner or Italian whilst you are there. We love this place and villa, can't you tell. I could go on and on but I think you get the message we will be returning in a couple of years time like we always do.Some how nothing else would live up to our expectations. Over the years we have stayed at around a dozen different villas in Florida

Some have been extremely grand, and we have been fortunate to return to and would always be on our list when re-booking, others have not been so good and not made our list

This property would certainly make the list of properties we would have no hesitation in returning to, and gave us all that we look for in a villa rental

This was the first property we have booked from the DIBB

In the past we have booked some lovely private homes outside of the DIBB, however each one of them until we arrive has always given us that little fear of what is it really going to be like, are we going to be taken for a ride etc

Its amazing how different a property can look on arrival compared to photos on a website

With the DIBB we were at ease from the moment the owners advised us of availability

By all means dont take everything for granted and check for your own peace of mind, but the DIBB and its community and members and villa owners really feel and are genuine people

The owners of this property (Sheelagh & Jon) put us at ease from when we first spoke with them

They provided us with very useful information, and tips to make our stay even more enjoyable, and were always available to answer our questions

The property itself really is a home from home, and this is one of the reason properties like this make our list of where we would return to

The fact the owners also spend a considerable amount of time there themselves speaks volumes, and helps to ensure everything is kept up to scratch

Its not always the big extras that make the property, for us its the silly little things that make life easier (electric kettle Not many of these in the US), access to a bathroom from the pool essential with kids, oh and in this case cable TV package including live Premiership games (shame my team were not up to performing when I could watch them live)

The property was very very clean on our arrival with plenty of bedding and towels (including tea towels - the times there have been none) available, and it was also spacious, and well laid out, and the beds extremely comfortable, as was the poolside furniture

Not to mention the essential TV's in each room to catch up on all that great US TV and weather, along with the games room, games console for the kids, free wireless internet and UK calls, and washing machine and dryer, plus the safe that the owners failed to mention to us, but was a fantastic bonus - note to Sheelagh & Jon add it to your inventory

The maintenance people were also fantastic on the one minor occassion we had need to call them, with the problem resolved within an hour and that was on a Sunday afternoon, and nice to know they also genuinely exist and care should you have need to contact them

Its also in a great location, in what is a nice mix of residential and holiday rentals, and very nice and tidy neighbourhood

And yet everything is genuinely close by, despite the reservations many may have of booking a villa in this area, and that US27 is too far away

We may have thought this ourselves in the past but having been there now a number of times this property is closer than many others we have been to that claim to be closer

We have heard the always quoted 10 mins from Disney, more times than we have been to Chef Mickeys, and there must be a secret Disney location within reach of some of those properties for this to hold true

Once you become familiar with the location of this property, (and follow the owners tip) and the shortcuts available, this property is within a genuine 15 minutes of Disney (we timed it one day and did it in 12)

We also thanks to the joys of sat nav, managed to make the staff entrance and bus lane at Animal Kingdom in 10 minutes from the property , but thats a different story and not the recomended route

Its less than 5 minutes to 192 from the property if you follow Florence Villa Grove past the Westside school

And also Walmart Super Target, Publix Berry Town, Posner Park Championsgate and all that they offer, plus a good selection of the favourite US restaurants are all within a 5 minute drive of the property, not to mention many great golf courses

So all in all a very nice property owned by a lovely couple, and definitely recomended to be on any shortlist for the once in a lifetime holiday
