My husband, 10 year old son and I stayed at the Retreat villa for 2 weeks and loved our time there!

My sister in-law JoJo88 has stayed here a couple of times and always enjoyed their stay so when I found out our dates were available I did not hesitate to book the Retreat.

Jason and Donna were great to deal with. I had booked the villa before our flights were out and Jason and Donna were happy to accommodate the slight change of dates. I also thought it was a very nice touch when Jason rang to check all was ok with the villa.

Upon on arrival we all knew we were going to enjoy our time at the villa. The villa was spotless. Jason and Donna really have thought of everything. The kitchen is very well stocked... not that we cooked

The welcome basket that was provided was great, this included, bread, jam, butter, water, cereal, Pepsi, orange juice, tea and coffee. This meant we didn?t need to rush to the shops! I also liked having the cool bags to use, they are a great idea to have in a villa.

Jason and Donna also left the sat nav out for us to use which was very handy.

The bedrooms and the living area were spacious. There was lots of bath/shower towels and also plenty of pool towels which are by the pool doors.

The pool was fab! We had many hours of fun in the pool.

We were all sad when we had to leave, we would love to return to the Retreat.

My husband, 5 year old daughter and I stayed at the Retreat at Westridge (on recommendation from fellow dibber JoJo88) for just over two weeks in the summer holidays, 2017. We had the most wonderful holiday, most of which was down to Jason and Donna?s amazing home.

From the first email contact, the owners were so helpful and efficient. Jason rang us after we had booked to make sure we had all the information we needed, and again just before we left. He also rang us in the villa on our first day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction - it most certainly was!

The welcome pack that was there on arrival was so handy; there was water, milk, bread, cereal and butter among other things. It lasted a few days! The kitchen was so well equipped (not to mention gorgeous), I would be really happy with that set up at home! We ate in quite a lot - it didn?t seem like as much of a chore to cook as it does at home

The villa was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms and living areas were so homely and spacious; we spent many evenings relaxing in the recliners, then slept very well in the comfortable beds. We all loved the master en suite bathroom with its huge shower and bath.

The games room was really fun, and the pool was wonderful to relax in. The pool looks out over a conservation area, and it?s really nice not to be overlooked. There were pool towels as well as many bath towels, which were really welcome.

The villa security is top-notch - codes for the entry gates, villa itself, as well as a security alarm and a safe.

The location of the villa near Berry Town Center is really convenient, there is a really nice IHOP there, as well as a Publix. We went to Disney most days, and found the distance fine, using the 192.

We didn?t want to come home! We will definitely be back to stay again - it?s a gem

We put in a villa request on the Dibb for our stay in August 2016 for the 6 of us. Me, DH, two boys aged 13 & 10 and my parents. Our requirements were 4 bedrooms, private pool, and games room preferably with table tennis. Proximity to the parks wasn't important as this was a chilling out, relaxing, non-park holiday for us.

We absolutely hit the jackpot when Donna replied to our request. Every box was ticked, and after a few emails back and forth our dates were booked, 9 nights before moving on to Sapphire Falls for the rest of our stay.

Before travelling, we received several emails from Jason and Donna with lots of information and details about the villa, and I was especially impressed when Jason called my mobile the day before we travelled to make sure we were all set, and even offered to leave their Sat Nav out for us if we didn't already have one (which we didn't).

First impressions of the villa were that it was exactly as it looked in the photos on the website. It was spotless and had lovely air fresheners dotted around making it smell lovely. Jason had mentioned there would be a welcome pack for us which meant we didn't have to make a trip to the supermarket and wander wearily up and down the aisles. Instead we were greeted by a selection of cereals, bread, jam, butter, milk, water, juice, coffee, tea and I'm sure other things I've forgotten.

Jason called on our first morning just to check everything was okay which again was a very nice touch.

The kitchen was very well equipped, the pool area had plenty of sun loungers and chairs, and there was a little basket of pool towels by the patio doors. There were plenty of bath towels too as well as lots of extras in the games room like ponchos, cool bag, toys for little ones, plenty of ping pong balls and bats etc.

The villa is on a gated community and is itself well alarmed with easy to follow instructions on how to set it. The use of a key lock box made it easy to access the villa rather than having to find an office to pick up a key.

The beds were comfortable, and the huge bath in the main en suite was used often by our youngest. (And maybe me! )

The games room was a massive hit, especially the table tennis. And the pool was lovely too - very clean.

The location of the villa was great, there is a Publix 5 minutes away at Berry Town Centre as well as a few restaurants and in the other direction is Champions Gate for yet more restaurants. Rolling Oaks, our favourite destination for meals only took around 10 minutes to get to so even though location wasn't a priority, we really were as close to everything as we needed to be.

When our nine nights were up, none of us wanted to leave, we would've been happy to stay for the rest of our holiday, that's how much we loved this villa. We would happily recommend it to anyone, in fact some Dibb friends have since booked up to stay here and we would gladly return.

We had a wonderful stay, and I've since shared the details in a trip report, although I should really keep it a secret as we would be disappointed if our dates are booked up on any subsequent trips!

We were lucky enough to stay at The Retreat for two weeks at the beginning of December 2015, our group consisted of two adults and four children (ages 9, 8, 4 and 1).
Prior to arriving at the villa, we found all communication with the owners, Jason and Donna, to be extremely easy and informative. Emails were replied to quickly and after paying the balance of the villa rental we were provided with plenty of information about the villa and surrounding area. The directions that we were given to follow from Orlando International airport were easy to follow and much appreciated.
Firstly the villa has fantastic security, which was a massive plus for us. The community is gated and the villa itself has external cctv, an alarm system and a safe. The door to the pool is alarmed so we didn't have to worry about the children sneaking out to the pool area! At no point did we feel unsafe at the villa or on the community, which is a mix of residential and holiday villas. The community felt really homely and the other houses looked well maintained, the residents we did see out on walks always waved and said hello which was nice.
Upon entering the villa, I was struck by how nice it smelled and how spotlessly clean it looked. The children chose their own rooms and our youngest slept in the master bedroom in the travel cot provided by the owners (which was brand new). My youngest daughter discovered the Mickey/Minnie decorations the next day in one of the bedrooms and was so excited. The children loved the big bath in the master bathroom and spent ages in there bobbing about (I'm not going to lie, I miss that bath too!).
The owners provided a very thoughtful welcome package and although I knew about this, I was surprised at how generously sized the items were that were provided, we didn't need to worry about picking up anything on the way from the airport and could have breakfast before hitting Walmart/Publix the next day.
The kitchen was extremely well stocked with plates, cutlery, plastic plates and bowls, glasses and everything you need on holiday. There were more pots, pans and extras available than I have in my own kitchen and I am missing the coffee maker already. It was so nice getting up in the morning and putting on a machine of french vanilla/hazelnut coffee whilst watching the sun come up.
The owner also provided an abundance of towels, there was no chance of running out! I particularly liked the fact that pool towels and separate beach towels were available and we made use of them on our trip to Anna Maria island. We also used the excellent cool bag that was provided and the tupperware containers for picnic items, like I said, the owners have thought of literally everything.
The villa is well maintained and decorated, you can tell that the owners take pride in their -home and this shone through throughout the villa. My eldest daughter bagged the second main bedroom and absolutely loved lounging around in the evenings in the big bed, watching American tv. She felt so grown up!
The villa even had a prelit Christmas tree so we didn't miss out on feeling Christmassy when back at the home.
The villa is well situated on the 27. There is a Publix supermarket 1.5 miles away and 2.5 miles further on from there is a Walmart (turning left onto the 27 from the home) Just before the Walmart is the exit for the 192 where there are a plethora of restaurants and shops, including a Super Target. In the opposite direction (turning right onto the 27 from the home) in the 4 miles between the home and the I4 there is a Cracker Barrel, Dennys, McDonalds, Wendys etc. We used the I4 pretty much everyday, Disney is about 15-20 minutes at a guess (we didn't do Disney this trip) and Universal 35-40 minutes.
We loved the villa and would return without a doubt. We had an excellent rate for the home and it represented amazing value for money - to summarise, it was clean, well maintained, had everything we needed plus more, well situated, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated and the owners were a dream to deal with. We are so thankful that we got to stay at this home, if you are considering it, then go for it! You won't be disappointed.
