Brightwater Villa Review

Lovely villa, in beautiful and secure estate

We have just returned from a fabulous three week stay at Brightwater Villa, in Lake Berkley Resort, Kissimmee.

Our trip was originally planned for 2020, and Dave has been extremely accommodating and helpful, both in rescheduling and helping with planning hints and tips.

Location - Lake Berkley resort is an attractive, very well maintained and secure gated community. Brightwater has beautiful lake views and we enjoyed the variety of birds and wildlife. The sunsets over the lake were incredible. The location was perfect with everything very accessible and easy to drive to - Walmart and Chick-fil-A (recommended) was a 2 minute drive and Disney Parks 20 - 30 minute drive.

Accommodation - The villa is very spacious and well appointed. Lots of towels and extra bedding, and plenty of glassware and crockery. The integrated water and ice in the fridge was a favourite feature of ours as were the very large oven and microwave.

All bedrooms have Roku boxes which provide easy access to all the main streaming sites, Netflix; Prime; Disney ; Youtube. A large smart TV in the main living area provided the same flexibility as well as access to US channels. Free wifi provided was reliable and worked well with multiple devices at any time. We had no issues using the safe.

The extensive pool and decking area was a real stand out for us, lots of seating, both under cover and around the pool. The pool was well maintained and the separate hot tub was easy to operate and a nice way to relax after a long day in the Parks.

The garage/games room was great fun, with a very good quality, full size pool table with lots of cues and chalk provided. The children enjoyed the table football and air hockey. The laundry facilities; washer, dryer, clothes horse and iron were well appointed and easy to use, allowing us to pack and bring less, and to return with almost no unwashed clothes!

We would happily recommend Brightwater Villa as we had an excellent stay and would certainly look to return.

Brightwater Villa at 24 hour guarded gated Lake Berkley less than 8 miles from Disney World.
Situated in a beautiful position, backing on to the lake with plenty of wildlife to watch. Screened heated private pool with lanai. One of the largest pool decks on the resort. West facing pool with spectacular sunsets over the lake. Hot Tub. Side fences - not overlooked.

WiFi, free international phone calls and 300 TV channels including English football.

5 bedrooms including 2 master suites with pool and lake views. Ground floor master has patio doors to lanai/pool deck.

Full air conditioning. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, ice dispenser, coffee maker, kettle, teapot. Washing machine, tumble drier.

Comfortably furnished with 55 inch 4kTV, 3 DVD players, TV in every bedroom. Upstairs den with double sofa bed, 40 inch HDTV, iPod / iPhone dock. 3 hair dryers. Games room in the garage area with 8' Brunswick slate bed pool table, air hockey, and foosball (table football).

We are licensed for maximum 12 guests, We sleep 10 in comfort. 11th and 12th guests are accommodated on a double sofabed in upstairs open plan den

...or we have 2 travel cots/cribs for infants. We are baby and toddler friendly - bed side guard, high chair, stair gate, 2 reclining buggies/strollers with hoods.

Lake Berkley is a private gated, 24 hour guarded community with 3 stocked catch and release fishing lakes, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, childrens playground, nature trail around the lake. Clubhouse with large heated communal pool, childrens splash pool, spa, fitness centre. Lake Berkley provides everything you need to enjoy a Disney-based holiday. It's close enough to all the action, but also far enough away to enjoy some peace and tranquility. Located within 1 mile of the famous Highway 192 near Medieval Times, you are never far from restaurants, shopping, golf. There is a 24-hour Super Wal-Mart within walking distance with pharmacy. Conveniently situated for Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and water parks. 7.8 miles from our home to Disney entrance arch.

Lake Berkley is a peaceful family resort with quiet time requested from 9pm.
