Mara

Mara is located near Uzima Springs Pool in Jambo House at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you don't mind venturing off the beaten path then you will find some interesting and delicious food. This counter-service restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers diverse flavours from the continent of Africa.

As well as African choices it also offers American fare, the menu has cheeseburgers, caesar salad, flatbreads, chicken nuggets on offer as well as african stew or falafel pita. There is a children's menu with macaroni and cheese, hamburger and cheese pizza.

There is a refrigerated grab and go area that has a selection of sandwiches, salads and fruit with a plentiful range of alcoholic or non-alcholic bottled drinks, iced coffee and smoothies to choose from. The refillable drinks station enables you to purchase a Animal Kingdom souvenir mug and keep re-filling it.

The indoor seating area takes it's theme from the Masai Mara National Reserve and in addition there is shaded outdoor seating too.

Be sure to take a home a bottle of South African wine from the great selection on offer.
