Kona Island Coffee & Sushi Bar

The Kona Island Coffee & Sushi Bar is located next to the Kona Cafe on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial Hall in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It is open from 6.30am until 12pm and 5pm until 10pm daily serving high quality food at very reasonable prices.

Kona Coffee Bar by day transforms into the Kona Island Sushi Bar by night. Serving a fabulous range of freshly prepared Sushi, washed down by traditional Japanese Saki is perfect for avid Sushi lovers or for those who are a little more adventurous and want to try something different.

You can also sample the Kona Island Hawaiian Shaved Ice here. There are eight flavoured syrups that you can add to your shaved ice treat, choose from orange, passion mango, cherry, coconut, blue raspberry, strawberry, pineapple or pina colada. For a little indulgence then you can also have a swirl of cream added to your creation!

You can either sit directly in front of the bar and watch the chef's preparing the Sushi whilst you eat or there is also bar-type seating in front of a glass wall that overlooks the entrance to the Polynesian resort offering views of the lovely gardens.

An array of Sushi is presented beautifully on crisp white china plates, giving a fresh modern feel to the dishes.

Some of the items on the menu are Shrimp Tempura Roll, California Luau Roll, Citrus Hamachi Roll, Volcano Roll, Dragon Hand Roll or if you are having difficulty deciding what to choose, then there is the Kona Combo Plate. The California Rolls here hold a zesty little surprise, as they are filled with pineapple instead of cucumber!

Finish off the experience by sampling a glass of Beni Manasku Sake or Kakujo Jun Sake, or choose from a selection of cocktails, red and white wines. They also have the Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale on the menu.
