Mama Della's is located along the Piazza, overlooking the Bay at the Portofino Bay Resort. It is open daily from 5.30pm and offers a Dinner Service which offers consistently good service and high quality food.

Head Chef Joseph Cournoyer-Burnett has used his passion and talent to devise a menu comprising of authentic traditional Italian dishes inspired by favourites from Naples, Piemonte and Tuscany. The dishes are innovative and use only the freshest of locally-produced seasonal ingredients.

The restaurant has a distinct Italian feel and has several rustic themed rooms which make you feel just like you're in Mama's own home. Be serenaded by the musicians, creating a romantic atmosphere as you dine. As well as indoor seating there is also the option of dining Al Fresco on the Piazza outside the restaurant, this allows you to take in the stunning views as you eat your meal.

The menu does frequently change to encompass the ingredients available, begin with fresh Insalata's and Antipasti, try the La Mamma Dell' Antipasto with marinated olives, spicy pickled vegetables, artichokes, roasted red peppers, sliced capicola, prosciutto, salami, aged provolone and Pecorino cheese.

Traditional dishes that you will always find on the menu are Pollo Parmigiano, Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti con Polpette and of course Lasagna made from Mama's Famous Recipe.

Entrees also include specialities of Brazino del Meditterraneo, which is pan-seared Sea Bass, Prosciutto, Caper Lemon Cream and Pappardelle, there's the Filet Mignon with Truffled Pecorino Cheese, Polenta, Organic Egg and Hen of the Wood mushrooms or try the delicious 'Frutti Di Mare', comprising Clams, Scallops, Shrimp, Cappellini, Mahi Mahi and a buerre blanc.

You'll be spoilt for choice with the Dessert menu, with offerings of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Molten Chocolate Cake, Cannoli and Panna Cotta di Vaniglia. If you want something light and refreshing then the Mama's Selection of Sorbetto is perfect, with flavours of Lemon, Mango and Raspberry.

The Wine list features carefully selected Wines from a variety of Regions, allowing perfect pairings to complement your meal. The Sommeliers with their wealth of knowledge are more than happy to advise you, should you need it.
