Pelican Preserve at SeaWorld has become home to many permanently injured brown Pelicans.
In their natural habitat these poor birds have been injured by things such as discarded fishing line, fish hooks, nets and many other dangerous items found lurking in the water.
The Animal Rescue & Rehab Program, rescue these poor animals and re-habilitate them at SeaWorld, although as some of their injuries would not allow them to safely return to the wild, SeaWorld becomes their new home!
