Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

The brand new Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is located off the Main Lobby in the Great Ceremonial House at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It is open from 4pm until midnight daily.

Trader Sam's is a tiki bar with a nautical feel, it has been themed on the ride 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Submarine Voyage. Guests can enjoy small plates of food, along with the famous Trader Sam Cocktails.

Some of the delights on offer are Kalua Pork Tacos with shredded cabbage and pickled vegetables, Chicken Lettuce Cups with hoisin ginger sauce and the Hawaiian Poke with Sriracha aioli and wonton chips, Salmon Oshizushi, Corn-battered Portuguese Sausages with curry ketchup, Pan-fried Dumplings with a soy-sesame dipping sauce and finally a Headhunter Sushi Roll.

Guests can enjoy their refreshments either in the intimate indoor seating area, having only 50 seats, or outdoors on the patio where further seats are available and offers views of the marina and lagoon.
