Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter
Port Orleans French Quarter is a beautiful resort, very quiet and relaxing, the only negative thing is that I found our room a little bit dark. Transport is excellent, with just the one bus stop and the boat taking you to downtown disney. All in all we loved this resort and would definitely return.

Disney's Old Key West
We stayed in a one bed villa in August 2010, just myself and my 2 teenage boys and it was absolutely wonderful and would love to go back. We stayed in the Turtle Pond area and it took about 10 minutes to walk to the Hospitality House or you could just jump on a bus. Although when we stayed our villa hadn't been refurbished it was in excellent decor throughout. The washing machine and tumble dryer were a Godsend. We didn't use the main pool but did use the small one in the Turtle Pond area. The buses were frequent and we never waited very long for one to turn up, we also used the boat that took us to Downtown Disney. Would recommend this resort to everyone.

Royal Pacific Resort
Myself and my two teenage sons stayed at the Royal Pacific resort in August 2009 for 11 nights in the club level, due to a fantastic glitch on a hotel booking website, would never have been able to afford it otherwise. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in and they offered us a free breakfast for anytime during our stay as a sorry for the delay.
Well what can i say, an absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was spacious enough for the 3 of us, and was kept lovely and clean throughout our stay. Club level was fantastic, free snack and drinks throughout the day. We used to grab a snack for breakfast and a cold drink to take with us, and then pop in whenever we were about and always had a couple of thier cookies for supper. A computer was also available in the lounge area. The swimming pool was fabulous and the grounds were absolutely stunning. I used the washing machine and tumber dryers in the laundry rooms with no problems. All the staff were wonderful and most obliging. We also got the free courtesy bus one day to Aquatica and the front of line passes for the parks were invaluable.
Would definitely stay here again although I doubt I would ever be able to afford club level again.

Portofino Bay Hotel - Universal
We stayed here for one night in August 2010 to make use of the express passes and to get into Harry Potter early. We booked the hotel using airmiles, we had stayed at the Royal Pacific the previous year and wanted to try one of the other hotels. Unfortunately when we checked in they couldn't find our reservation and took about 15 minutes to sort out. To say sorry they upgraded our room to a water view.
As we were only there one night we didn't really get the most out of the resort unfortunately. It is a stunning resort and was very quiet when we were there. We basically only used the room to sleep and change in so can't comment on much else really. The room was beautiful and clean and we used the boat to the parks numerous times. Would have loved to have stayed longer and use the facilities.

Teppan Edo Restaurant
We ate here in August 2010 and was one of our favourite meals. We had a table with an American family of 5 who were lovely. I was on a low fat diet and they went through the menu with me and I was fine for the main meal but was funny when they brought me my dessert and it was a sliced orange. I didn't mind as I was full anyway. Absolutely loved it here and would definitely dine here again.

The Garden View Tea Room
I really wanted to do this when I went in August 2010 with my two teenage sons, so dragged them along. To be honest I wished I had cancelled as I was on a low fat diet due to medical reasons and there wasn't a lot I could have and my sons weren't that impressed with the whole experience. I'm sure I'd have enjoyed it more if I was able to eat a cream cake or two and went with another adult who would enjoy the surroundings.

Doctor Doom's Fearfall
Totally agree with the other review on here, what a waste of a ride and time. What a disappointment, I love the Tower of Terror so was expecting it to compete a bit with that but this ride was rubbish, my son and I came off this and looked at one another and said is that it.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
I think this is possibly my favourite ride in the whole of Disney. The theming is superb, and the ride itself wow, it's completely different every time you ride it. I always become so disorientated on this ride, in August 2010 the ride broke down when we were on it and I was so disorientated I couldn't tell where we were lol... luckily we were at the bottom and they had to put the lights on and drag us back. Didn't put me off was straight back on... love it, love it, love it.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
This was my first ever ride at Disney in August 2009. I'd been planning this trip for nearly a year and I'd been telling my two teenage sons that I wouldn't be going on any of the big rides as they really scared me, so they would have to go on their own. Well on our first day we stood outside BTMR and I thought what the heck I'm going to miss out on so much not going on everything whilst my sons did that I would try it out. Well I absolutely loved it and made me realise how much I would miss that I vowed to go on everything at least once and I did, totally overcame all my fears and went on everything in all the parks, loved some more than others but am so glad I made that decision. If anyone has any fears, give it a go.

Push the Talking Trash Can
We'd never heard about Push and on our first ever day in Magic Kingdom we spotted him talking to some children, it was so funny to watch.

The Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room
We asked for a table on the patio so we could watch the Illuminations fireworks, we were told they couldn't guarantee it but would see what they could do. We were about half an hour late been seated but what a view we got, fantastic, unfortunately the food let it down slightly but nonetheless we had a great evening due to the location of the table.
