following this as interested to find out what is going on because I thought if you went through a sun-pass toll it would be activated and you got charged a max of $19.95 + tolls

if you went through a booth where you had to pay you would know if you didn't stop .

did you get the letters by post or email ?

have they taken the charge from your card ?

Have checked with the credit card company and they have actually taken the money from the credit card, he is taking it up with the credit card company tomorrow.

Have e-mailed Alamo and asked to see the photographic evidence, but now having read this thread I am wondering whether he accidentally ran through a red light or stop sign as the other poster suggested, if that is the case then that is OK and we will accept the fine, but not prepared to pay a fine for running an imaginary toll booth :angry:

Best of luck but I suspect other posters are right in that its maybe not coming to a full stop at a red light or even running it.
Let us know as we can all get caught out.

They must be over charging you for something else, when using alamo and going to Miami and using the sun tolls, they just charged it to my credit card. max of $25 a day. Ring them up and ask for evidence, they might of made a mistake

I went through a toll pass in heavy rain at Tampa, Alamo charged me around $5 so as others say it must be something else or a mistake.

Received this e mail after Alamo told us we had to contact them
