How reliable is MDE when in the parks?

Been looking through MDE to get some dining ideas, and my tickets and magic band order, which was all linked together until I upgraded to the DDP a few weeks ago - has disappeared... which made me think about being in the park and wanting to switch/cancel fast passes etc, how reliable actually is it? Are there booths that you can use if the apps don't work? We've not been before, I'm not worried, just curious! My phone app shows nothing at all, or the ipad, and logging in through the website everything has disappeared (how the hell do I get it back lol)

We are here at the moment. Whilst Internet access is ok in the parks we have had difficulty getting extra FP once the initial 3 ran out it just kept saying something along the lines of you have had 3 for today please go to a kiosk for an additional fast pass .they are dotted around the parks.

We had no problem in the park changing any fastpasses that were in pur original 3 but once we had used these the only way to book another one was through the fast pass kiosks... app on my phone wouldnt allow it... this was 2 weeks ago

No issues with MDE in any of the parks or with Internet access .my phone is an iPhone six plus .
Re fast passes .
You can only book three on your MDE any additional passes have to be
Via a kiosk .
This is a feature of the MDE not a defect ,

Oh I know you can only book 3 - that's not the problem, it's more if I wanted to swap a fast pass for a different ride etc & can't get wifi or the app plays up. I find MDE extremely glitchy here, I have an iPhone 6 and literally nothing shows, nothing shows on anything on any MDE and when go to link the tickets it says they are already linked but do not show up.

Thankyou, technology is so frustrating haha. I wasn't sure if you went to a kiosk or to guest services like you do here at chessington etc!

The app on my iPhone 6/iPad Air is rubbish, shows nothing up. Whilst trying to sort it today it got me thinking about if we're in the park and the app shows nothing - like it is today - what would I do!

When we used it in April it was awful, frustratingly bad. Couldn't get onto it, I ended up taking screenshots of the reservations and fastpasses on my iPhone.

How do you even get it to show up what your holiday actually is?! We have 5 nights at CBR with DDP, MM & 14 night tickets but the only one that shows up in the room & DDP, no tickets and no magic bands...and that's only if I log into MDE by going via the website!

Worked fine for me in the uk, all FP booked fine etc. The minute we arrived in the US the app ceased to work. It's glitchy and intermittent and doesn't refresh unless you're actually sitting on top of a wifi transmitter. Really frustrating.
