Guest Guest	Great thread. I've just scribbled a few notes as we're planning on visiting AMI on our trip. Could anyone advise if I would need to make a reservation at the sandbar restaurant, or can we just turn up? (There's 4 of us). Thanks.

Guest Guest	I have been to the Sandbar a couple of times and I did make a reservation first so probably best as I still had a little wait when I arrived.

Lola Imagineer Join Date: Jan 05 Lola's Reviews Hotel Reviews: 1	We were there today. It was busy but an early lunch at the Sandbar was good, between 11.30 and 12 didn't need a reservation. The beach was busy but we parked at the pier and got the trolley to a stop away from the Sandbar area where it was quieter. A really good day which reminded us of longer stays. Hot and sunny, perfect weather

Visited Sandbar many times, different times of day. Never pre-booked. Sometimes, usually pre sunset evening, you wait ... and have a drink sitting on the benches by the sand, but hey, that's no bad thing!

Longest wait about 15mins.

Back we go!

That's reassuring to hear. I was going to make a reservation, but i'm not entirely sure what day we'll be going as yet. Maybe we will just turn up and hope for the best.
