So do you have the full DDP or the QSDP? I'm surprised that you've already booked your holiday and not waited for the free DDP to be released for April 2016?

As much as I too love to plan, it really is too early to choose which days to do what. I wait until the Busy Day guide comes out.

Have you been before? There's no way we'd be up to going out to a dinner show on our arrival night. everyone would be falling asleep at the table!

I believe that Garden Grill at Epcot only opens for dinner around 4pm, so a late lunch there is not an option.

I do like your plan of concentrating on only a couple of areas at a time in the parks, especially at MK. It saves lots of to-ing and fro-ing.

I can feel your excitement from here!

Same here. The prices for 2016 at the moment are the full rack rate prices, so booking now is the most expensive way to do it. If you'd waited until end of April this year then you'd have got the free qsdp at CBR and have been able to upgrade to the full ddp. Might be worth checking prices when they're released to see if it's worth losing your deposit and rebooking. Or have you got a really good deal that we're not aware of? If so, please share

I would strongly advise against planning anything for the night you arrive. Even with a nap on the plane (if you manage it) you'll be very tired. At 6.30pm your body clocks will be telling you that it's 11.30pm and you'll have had an early start too with a 9.55am flight. The most we ever manage on arrival day is a half hearted bite to eat at the qs place at our resort with children who are older thatn your boys.

Also, how do you know what days it's available for your stay this far in advance?

As Mortimer Mouse says, Garden Grill only do dinner, so you'll need to look at this again.

Thanks guys,

I booked it before I joined this forum, and didn't realise they did free dining pass - kicking myself a bit. It's not worth cancelling and rebooking tho, I've paid a deposit :-(

Will there be enough time between busy guide coming out and adr reservation to be able to tweak my plans? I'm just gonna have to curb my excitement now till it's time to put things into stone..., how will I manage ha!

I agree with loves2plan. I wouldn't recommend booking any concrete plans on the day of your arrival. Last year our flight was delayed 1hr 30mins, and we were stuck on the plane for a further hour because of a storm. We didn't end up getting to our hotel (on International Drive) until 9pm (when our flight was due to land at 5pm).
It's best just to take this day as it comes..

You can always double check if/when the offer is released to see if it's worth losing your deposit.

Depends how much of a deposit you've paid. Always worth a look

The Busy Day guide is normally out around 7 months before, although park hours are still subject to change nearer the time. So you should have a month to start your planning before you can book ADR's.
