We did the BOG lunch the other day and it was the most disappointing experience of our holiday so far. See day 2 of my live trip report if you want to see what I thought of it.

Folk do say dinner is better though so perhaps thats a better shout?

I think that is it really. Its a big thing for fans of the film. DD(23) and I were excited waiting in the queue to get in! We loved the theming and the significance of it all - but DH and DDs DBF just went for a sandwich!

The thing about dinner is it's TS so you are shown to a seat and then order.

Lunch is QS so yes, you will need to find a table, and at busy times I can understand that being a hassle.

As you say, the ballroom is huge, so when it's full it will be noisy too. On the MiceChat podcast I heard them call it 'Disney's fanciest mess hall'!

We went in Nov so parks were quiet, but could still only get a 4.20pm booking. But it was very relaxed and romantic. And the way they hand you a Lumiere to light your way to the table - just magical.

We had lunch there so it was 'free' via the QSDP. Didn't care much for the food but that's not why we went, we wanted to see inside! And it was spectacular, we loved it.

Completely agree with this, the food is good, I've had far better onsite but the theming is really very well done.

We ate dinner here twice in 2013, once in the main ballroom and once in the Ballroom (big light and impersonal) and once in the West Wing, which is smaller, darker but i much preferred despite the people coming in to take photos while you're eating, but this is inevitable

The Beast wanders around every 20 minutes or so and you can meet him after dinner for a photo, it's snowing outside the windows, in the West Wing there's the rose to see and a portrait of the prince that changes to the beast intermittently with a flash of thunder and lightning.

Well worth experiencing.

Will they not eat a turkey or roast beef baguette? They were delicious but we had the dressings taken off as didn't like them
