Help! Seperate or combined tickets?
Hi all,
Just been recommended this site and am already hooked ~ pity it's 6 months too late! Anyway myself and my hubby are off to Orlando on December 28th for 2 weeks and through this site I have bought our Universal Studio tickets and our Seaworld/Busch Gardens tickets online. But I have just gone into the Disney site to get our Disney tickets and my head is spinning! I can't seem to see any difference between the 14 day Ultimate Ticket and the 7 day Premium Ticket (other than the days obviously!) We're not staying in a resort so there are no additional benefits there. Am I missing something? Also, as we are actually paying in Euro's, the price for the 2 tickets comes to nearer €500 for us. We won't be using any of the water parks or anything, probably just the 4 main parks. But I can't find 'single' park prices. Can anyone help me choose between single tickets and combined tickets please? |

If you don't want to do water parks, just the main parks, you might be better looking at the Magic Your Way tickets from a US site as these are more flexible in number of days and what is included, a base ticket only includes the main theme parks. The Ultimate and Premium tickets are a good deal compared to single park admissions, but it depends how many days you really need.

The answer really depends on how many days you intend going to Disney parks. As you already mentioned Universal and SeaWorld and as you are going for 2 weeks, I would imagine that you are probably going to Disney Parks for 10 days or less?
As you aren't going to the water parks the cheapest Disney option is probably Magic Your Way Tickets. If you restrict yourself to only one Disney Park in any one day you can get 10 day tickets for €178 each from a site like undercovertourist.com (I got mine last year from there, others here also recommend AttractionTicketsDirect). The prices get higher if you want to hop from Disney park to park during the day (10 day €214) or if you want the tickets non expiration (if you don't get to use the 10 days within a fortnight you won't lose the days, €299). There is very little in the difference between 4 day tickets upwards to the 10 days, it's really the first 3 days that cost big bucks. I was in Orlando last year for 2 weeks, we bought 7 day Magic Your Way (expires 14 days from 1st use, no hopping between parks) cost (using today's cost) €177 each. We also got 14 day 4 park flex tickets to cover the 2 universal parks and SeaWorld.
