ADRs & Charges
Help needed
I booked a number of ADR's last month namely: Yacht Club Galley Character Breakfast at Cape May Breakfast at BOMA Princess Breakfast at EPcot Hoop De DOO Le Cellier Now I was asked for my CC details which I provided and I also advised that we were on the DDP. This months Credit Card statement shows a charge for £88 about $180 approx. Thing is I don't know which one I 've been charged for and whether... its all gone pear shaped...I think its Hoop De Doo's the culprit but has this happened to anyone else? That is being charged up front even though you're on the DDP. Cheers |

You shouldn't have been charged for anything if you're on DDP.
I did the same as you and was oly charged up front for the Princess TEA Party as it's not on DDP. Ring them back and ask. |

I was never charged when we were on the DDP. I would query this charge straight away.

Some people on another forum(sorry ) have also had this kind of problem with the DDP and the Hoop De Doo. Some have been charged upfront, others havent. The money has always been credited back but i would still phone back and just explain that you didnt expect to be charged upfront as you are on the DDP.
Let us know how you get on.

Did you tell them when you booked that you were on the DDP?
If not ring them back and get a refund. Its probably the Princess Breakfast that they have charged you for. I would check what the effect of the meals on the DDP is. You may find that one meal will cost you 2 credits - it depends on the event. |

Problem Solved
Folks
Thanks for your help here, got a reply from Disney, they state the charge was for Hoop de Doo. They are adamant that you pay up front for this, they went on to say... "When picking up your tickets, please make sure to have the guest service agent refund your credit card and get a receipt showing they have done so and pay with your Disney Dining Plan." Ah well. Cheers |

I guess they feel they need to do that as people on the DDP may not turn up and so Disney would lose money (as HDDR is always sold out).
I wonder how many people forget about the refund though, having paid their credit card bill many months before they arrive? |
