Where to eat - near The Polynesian
Hello there
We are staying the last 3 nights of our holiday at The Polynesian. My original idea was that on our first night we would book our twin daughters (aged 6) into the Disney Club at the hotel and then go and have a nice meal together just the two of us for a change. Again my original plan was to go to Ohanas, but now having read a few reports I'm having my doubts as its seems more likely a very lively dinner as opposed to a nice quite one. What do you think ? Can anyone recommend an alternative restaurant that's not too far away and that we can get to without driving ? Many thanks |

OOh, there are loads...
at the poly there's Kona Cafe or get the monorail to the Grand Floridian and you have a choice of Citricos Narcoosees V&A (very very very pricey) or at the Contemporary California Grill Concourse Steakhouse or slightly further away at Wilderness Lodge, there is Artist Pointe Depending on $$$, I'd probably look at Citricos or Narcooses |

Thanks for reply - which of those would you recommend just for the two of us ? (Not sure we could stretch to V & A)

I'd go for either Citricos or Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian.
It's a lovely little stroll round the lake from the Poly - takes about 10 minutes. Citricos is quieter and more romantic, but bear in mind that it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays currently. |

We've been to Kona while ours were in the kids club at the Poly. I'd stick to one of the restaurants at either the Poly, Contemporary or Grand Floridian. DH and I tried a meal in Epcot while the kids were in the club another time and it just took so long to get there. With our meal at the Poly we were able to grab some coffee's from Kona afterwards and head down to the beach to chill before we picked them up.
