Little Wedding Day Goodie Bags
I'd like to do one of these per couple at our Florida/Disney receptions
6 couples (7 including us), ideas I have so far: Cinderella Carriage Candles 2012 pen & keyring 5 children (age 3 @ 3, 1 @ 6, 1 @10): Personalised ears $1 Disney dollar One of the colouring books they give at restaurants, been the same red one forever! Mickey candy Signed photos by Mickey and pals - my mum arranged for one of these for my 21st in WDW Any other ideas, nothing too expensive, just a couple of stocking fillers, for adults and children? And if anyone sees Mickey and Minnie wedding gift bags, please let me know! Thanks |

The carriage candles sound nice. Can I ask where you got them please?
I'd like to do this for our mums. Maybe include a few essentials like a sun block stick and lip balm.

Kim did a gift for Amy's wedding and I helped her gather some things up. I know she'll know exactly what the items where but the ones I can remember are things that I got from the travel section at Target. I want to say everything was under $1.00 or near to it.
I might have an idea for you for a bag but need to check on that when i'm back at the office on Monday. |

Our wedding gift bags are going to be a bit different as most of the guests will be Americans. So I have decided to make them up a Yorkshire / England gift bag. They will have Yorkshire tea, yorkshire t biscuits, a yorkshire mug, some Harrogate fudge, sfter that I am getting a bit stuck for ideas.

What about choccie Joanne? My auntie goes over to the states on visits a lot and she is always being asked to bring t-bags, custard powder, bisto gravy and cadbury's chocolate! Possibly the bisto would be less likely to melt, but isn't very romantic...

Thank's Carrie... Still got your email with the list of stuff you got for me
I did 'Welcome Baskets' for the guests for when they arrived at their hotel. They loved them. I tried to think of things that would be useful on holiday, but keeping the costs as low as possible. Carrie got the following Celo bags Boxes Bows Shreaded Tissue Champagne flutes Bottles of Sparkling Wine Disposable Cameas Mini sizes of the following Mouthwash First Aid Kit Shout Wipes Wet Ones Pain Killers Plasters Sun Block I got from 99p shop before I went Hand Sanitiser Disney Princess Tea Towels Pop up laundry baskets + 2 Washing tables Corkscrews. Sticky rollers (for clothes) 59p from Dunhelm Mill. Disposable Ponchos... job lot from ebay £20 for 500... still got loads left. I made Exploding Boxes the yellow box you can see ... a sort of photo album with the wedding day itinerary in and park hours. These could be taken out later and photos put in. Carrie also got me some beautiful fans for the ladies on the Wedding Day. All in all I thing I spent less than £100 for all of them (Made 7) Kim |

I loved loved loved those yellow boxes. You really put a lot of effort into the details of Amy's wedding. So great!
The bags I thought of didn't have a Disney graphic on it sorry. You can git cinch sacks done very cheaply so that might be an option. That way you get full use out of the gift and not a one off gift bag. Believe it or not you can have them embroidered cheaply as well and they have loads of colors. You can make a colouring books very easily and there is a great website that offers free printables. I made colouring books for the DIBB meet that we had a couple of years ago at Christmas. As for the English theme (Cinnabon) I will say that when I had to plan my Orlando blessing of marriage we had an English theme and what we did was give each guest a keychain when they went into the reception room. That keychain matched the centerpiece on the table and made them aware of where to sit so it served as a favor and seating card. They loved it! We had traditional things like a post box, telephone box, beefeater, black cab, etc. We also ordered Cadbury mini's and I put them in organza bags. Another big hit! |

Great ideas! Love the idea of the welcome baskets, especially now you say they were less than £100 for all, might have to enlist Carrie's help for that, as we would need 6 for adult couples, and maybe 3 for children (2 + 2 + 1) - thank God I have so much time to decide!
