YOU WILL LOVE IT - WHAT APARTMENT ARE YOU STAYING IN
THERE ARE LOADS OF NICE PLACES TO EAT - BUT BREAKFAST HAS TO BE MARYS LOVELY FOOD
THE BEACH IS WONDERFUL AND THE WATER IS SO CLEAR - YOU SEE FISH SWIMMING AROUND YOUR FEET - AND YOU MUST CHECK OUT THE TURTLES DONT BOTHER GOING ON A BOAT TRIP TO SEE - JUST GET A PEDALOE OUT

We went years ago (on our honeymoon). We stayed in Alikes but visited Laganas. It was a lovely island. Beaches were great. Lots of bars/restaurants to choose from.

we went to zante and loved it .Laganas is very lively and touristy if you like that u'll be ok . I stayed at Kalamaki thats just up the road u can get there by walking along the beach ... its really nice and friendly .One tip is get a taxi from the airport laods cheaper than the transfer bus and ur only a few mins away .definatly use a taxi going home to the airport as the its basic to say the least .like a big shed on a field with not much room and no aircon .
i will defo be going back loved it .

Hi,

We also staryed in Kalamaki (Hotel Exotica) a couple of years back - nice and relaxing break.

Over the last couple of years Laganas has become 18-30-ish but on a small scale.

We went to Laganas in 1999 and stayed at the Natalie Apartments. They were a few hundred yards from the beach but far enough away from the main strip not to get too much noise, although within walking distance. Had a lovely relaxing week and the island is very pretty.
