You don't need to put your watch in water mode before you enter water, it will automatically protect itself. All water lock mode does is lock the screen to prevent you accidentally stopping/starting...

Looking for ideas on somewhere to stay for 2 nights before we cruise from Tampa.

We fly into MCO on a Thursday and cruise on the Saturday so have two nights to fill.
