Is Star Wars Launch Bay worth Visiting
Hi
I have calculated this into my plan but is it worth going to or can it be done anytime? Is there a line for this and how long does it take?

If you are Star Wars fan it is a must do.
If you are meeting Chewy/Kylo/BB8 try to do first thing or last thing. According to touring plans pencil in 45 mins per character. We did it in about 20 mins each at the end of the day. |

If you have any interest in Star Wars - even just a passing interest - then it's worth visiting. However, if you're not in the slightest bit interested in Star Wars then you may find it a waste of space. In the Launch Bay there's a section showing some props and artwork from the movies, an area where you can meet a couple of characters, and a shop (of course!). Oh, and air-conditioning.
There's not usually a queue to get in. You can just pop in whenever you want. However, there are queues to meet the characters (average around half an hour each). There's also a theatre separate from the main Launch Bay which shows a 10 minute film about the making of Star Wars. Again, it's interesting to watch if you're a Star Wars fan but missable if not. There might be a short queue for this - usually just a 5-10 minute wait for the next show.

Unless you are a Star Wars fan I wouldn't bother. I would say there's nothing there for the non-fan. As a fan you can queue to meet characters and see some stuff. There's also a film. Even as fans we didn't spend a huge amount of time there.
