You're welcome, I'm a thrill seeker so it's something that's been in my mind since I started wearing glasses.

I bought a strap for mine from Walgreens, I hate not seeing properly on rides! ( I didn't even see the yeti on EE 😂 Before I got the glasses strap) Dh keeps his glasses on with no strap but I nearly lost mine on Rock n Roller coaster one year so I feel safer with it on!

Not really taken them off ever - although if my wife isn't go ing on and I know the ride is only a 5 minute wait I may take them off and try and follow someone in the q!

Never been a problem. Worst time was a water rapid ride, my glasses fell of then, luckily they fell on my lap - was a heart in the mouth moment, as I was nominated driver as well.

Generally due to the speed of the rides, they are unlikely to come off - but always a first time and all!

Mine are quite tight, sometimes I take them to the opticians to get a bit tighter before going to usa.

3 of us wear prescription glasses all the time, ds just sunglasses while we are away. We ride all the big coasters and use neoprene glasses straps while in the parks. Couldn't cope without glasses on. Plenty available online in sports places and surf shops. I did say to dh while we were there that if Busch or Seaworld sold them I'd buy them. We currently have some from the rollercoaster club we belong to.

Yes always wear my glasses too, normal or prescription sunglasses, depending on whether ride is indoor or outdoor. Though I must say, I too would be a little bit wary of them falling off, particularly on inverted rides. The tip about getting them checked and tightened a bit before you go is good and something I normally do too. I personally don't like the image of straps, but needs must so I might consider it.

Just wondering how it works though with vr headsets, such as at Kraken, I'd imagine you might need to take them off for a good fit, which defeats the purpose as you can't see!

I've kept my glasses on for VR rides are Thorpe Park and Alton Towers and although it was a bit uncomfortable, it was fine

Can I ask which roller coaster club do you belong to?
