WDW Wi-Fi 2018

Anyone know about WDW wi-fi these days, is it OK or patchy or just slow. Anyone do a speed test recently. I did a search for Wi-Fi but no results. Thanks.

I find WDW wi-fi quick and realible. Never had any trouble in the resort's or the parks. I only wish I could get it on the buses.

OK, good to know. I've noticed on Youtube, many users are live streaming, so I wondered if it was slowing everything down. They also sometimes lose signal.

We have just got back - the WiFi in our room was really good. Strong signal and very fast - great for FaceTiming!
In the parks, I found it very patchy. Often dropping out when I was trying to arrange fast passes/order food etc then struggling to reconnect.

We always found Wi-Fi in the rooms and on the resort to be perfectly fine (we stayed at All Stars). The parks were generally good too however the one park we thought was patchy was Hollywood Studios.

Just got back and I found it terrible in the parks. It was either the wifi or the aapp that was slow. fine outside the parks but getting extra fast passes was a pain

wow something must have changed since I last visited. I was able to change FP while on the move throughout the parks. I never noticed if one parks wi-fi was better or slower.

We’ve just come back and found the WiFi excellent at POR. The majority of the parks were generally good as well, although I found parts of the AK were a bit iffy!

Wifi at Pop has been very good when I stayed last year and this year. It is intermittent in the parks - sometimes it will get a great connection but other times it will have some issues connecting - I found I was very glad I also had a sim card with US data for when this happens!

In 2016 we found park WiFi and MDE app to be great. In 2017 it was very patchy and hard to make new reservations on the go. Hope it’s improved this year!
