Furniture Assembly RANT
So, DH comes home at 8pm and decides now is a great time to assemble the Corsica sideboard we've just had delivered from Next. Very excited about this
 He is notorious for being an independent control freak, charging ahead and getting it wrong or breaking an important part during the build. "No, no. I'll follow the instructions!" He says. After almost 2 hours he gets 3/4 through only to realise that he's missed a whole step in the assembly process and now he has to take it apart again  Just needed to let that all out

Ha ha, that would be me. Grab 2 random pieces and fit together, only read instructions if all goes wrong. DH is the total opposite, every piece is laid out neatly in a line and checked off against the instructions he has studies as if he has an exam later. Must say, he gets stuff built though. Still my approach is much more fun.

That's why my DH is banned from touching any self assembly furniture! He is useless and I can guarantee it would end in an argument if I left him to do it. Plus I find putting it together strangely enjoyable and therapeutic.

3 hours and 20 mins later and I'm unhappy with the finish
 You can't quite tell on the picture but on the right hand side as you look at it its very gappy, while the left hand side is flush. It's noticeable in the flesh and I'm ready to both pop and sleep for a week

That's why I paid the man from Babcock Furniture in Florida to put our new bedroom stuff together $70 bucks for delivery assembly and haul away best bargain ever as no domestic ensued
