alcatraz night tickets ?

hi guys
im just aboit to book our Alcatraz night tickets and just wanted to check a couple of things .. the site I was using is called Alcatraz island tickets .. is this the correct one $53 each ?
also I was looking to book the 5.55 tour out and was planning on returning on the last ferry home .. is this normally ok ?

Is it the alcatrazcruises.com one. Thats the official one. The ferry times you are thinking of are fine.

I�ve just done a lot of research on this. The only official place to buy your tickets is alcatrazcruises
They are the only company that are able to sell tickets that get you on the island. Others do tours around the island and don�t land. Or they simply buy from the official seller and whack on a surcharge.
You may end up with no tickets at all, many people have.
I see you are around 90 days away from going. This is the perfect time to buy. The official site is $45 per ticket I think, so I�m not sure you have found the official site?

Thanks guys .. just checked the site out and yep its $45 .. gonna double check the date with OH and book tonight

just got the bridge and muir woods tour to sort now .. yay

As others have said book with the company direct. We did the 5:55pm tour a couple of weeks ago thinking we would take the later ferry back, we didn't rush anything, did all we wanted to see and do and we were in time for the earlier ferry. See how your time goes when you are there and know you have the option of either. Enjoy!

Can I ask what is the best time to book? Thinking around 6pm and how long is the tour?

Tours leave at 5:55 and 6:30. It's about 2.5 hours. from what I remember there are 2 options going back 8:45 and 9:30 (approx, not 100% sure). You can go back on either
