San Francisco plans

Hi everyone,

Just over 6 weeks to go and starting to plan the detail.

Whilst in San Francisco we are doing a full day tour with Dylan’s on day 1 plus Alcatraz evening tour on day 3 eve.

We have the following jotted down to visit/do on Day 2 and 3 - Cable car, Union Square, China Town, Crooked street, Pier 39.

Is there anything major we have missed or you think we would enjoy. We are 2 adults, an 18 & 14 year old.

You have most of the highlights covered. Other suggestions would the Walt Disney Family Museum if your Disney fan. Lucas Film Lobby if your Star Wars fans. Musee Mecanique in Fishermans Wharf is fun for teens. Coit Tower for the views.

It would be a shame to go all that way and not drive over The Golden Gate Bridge.

Yes, your right - this is another on my to do list I think.

We went last summer and hired bikes on one day to cycle the bridge then cycled into Sausalito and got the ferry back. Really great day from our hols, although I had a very sore behind by the end of it! Very easy and safe.

If you are doing the all day tour with Dylan’s you should go over the bridge.
We went last Aug & it was an amazing day. We went over to Sausalito & into Muir Woods

I didn’t know about the Lucas film lobby & now I’m so excited! My son (& me too!) is a massive Star Wars fan & im taking him to SF next April! This has made my day! Are you definitely allowed inside the lobby? And whereabouts in the city is it? Can I take an Uber to it?

As others have said cycle over bridge to sausilito and back on ferry, easy cycle and lovely place
