Segway in California

We recently did Segway on our trip to Devon and was wondering about booking a Segway trip for our upcoming holiday. I was thinking maybe in Santa Barbara, San Francisco or San Diego. Anyone done this and would you recommend it?

I did a Segway tour in Washington DC a few years ago and it was a great way to see the city in a short time frame. I booked to do one in New Orleans and a Dibber suggested checking my travel insurance (HSBC annual policy with my Advance account) and I wouldn’t have been covered so cancelled it. Pls check your policy before booking one, just in case

We did one in La Jolla, San Diego and it was amazing. We went around town and along the beautiful sea fronts. We were even lucky enough to see the seals on Children's Beach.

The best way to explore San Gran is on a bicycle, we had an amazing time heading over the GG bridge .

We did the same, admittedly a good few years ago now. We got a deal through Groupon that saved us around 40% on the price - worth checking this site as well as livingsocial.com, from where we got discounted admission to the Safari Park up in the hills.

My husband did the La Jolla one, while DD and I did a kayak tour. He said it was really good.
