DCL and cancellation

Hi

My DH and I are booked on the WBTA on 6th Sept this year. My DH is being made redundant on 31st March this year. We are hoping that he will find a new job and so everything can continue as normal.

Looking at the cancellation clauses on this cruise..

Am I right in thinking that we can get a full refund of the deposit up until 119 days out (or 120 to be safe) which I calculate to be the 9th May 2014.

If we do need to cancel we have a wheelchair accessible cabin and there are none others available so would I be able to offer it to someone else to take over the booking, if I can find someone that is.

We have only put the deposit down on the cruise and have not booked flights or anything else yet.

Who did you book with? If direct with DCL or an USA TA then yes.

At first, I am sorry to hear about your husband had redundant as it is horrible feeling.

You are so lucky that you have not booking any flight or hotel etc. that would be harder. Maybe you can wait to cancel it before 9th May if your husband get a new job?

I don't think you loose your deposit down on the cruise if you booked with USA not in UK..

I checked my email and last payment is 9th May 2014 but advise you if you want cancel it better before 9th...

That is good. For some reason I was thinking it was sometime in February that we had to cancel by and then we would defo have had to cancel but now it does give us a few months for him to find another job.

For the cabin, I would speak to your TA if you booked through one. They may know of another customer who requires one.
