Universal Mardi Gras

We went to Mardi Gras tonight. It is easily the best theme park parade we have ever seen.

Great atmosphere, floats and performers and the bead throwing is great fun. If you are in Orlando in the next 6 weeks I recommend it

We've been a few times it great planning to,go on 11th March UB 40 and the parade great fun it's the only theme park parade when everyone shares the moment nobody seems to push in front everyone puts the little uns to the front to catch the beads or passes them to the kids and has a it of a dance with complete strangers

We experienced Mardi Gras at universal last time we visited 4 years ago and it was amazing, still have all my beads to remind me. We also got to see pit bull live too which was fun. Gutted that we arrive this time on the final day of Mardi Gras. Will have to see how tired we are when we arrive but would love to squeeze a visit in.

There are parades every day this year so mid week hasn't been to busy this week. We'll be back tonight for the Ne-Yo concert. I expect that will be busy so we've booked a table at NBC Grill for 5pm so we are back in the park for the parade and concert.
