Cabana Bay Volcano Bay

So can you tell me anything you can about this resort - never stayed here - how close to UO or IOA - I believe it is walkable to Volcano Bay. Are the standard rooms on par with say - All Stars? Any information very very welcome

Volcano Bay is right outside your window (I can testify to that, it was being built outside my bedroom on our last stay!). The standard rooms are just like a motel room, the suite has a separate bathroom and toilet, and a separate living area with fold out settee. It's a brilliant resort, but has gone very expensive.
The walk to the park was too much for me as I had plantar fasciitis, but the shuttle bus was always waiting by the stop and took literally 5 minutes.

We have booked to stay here in Aug for two weeks. I only know what I've read but the reviews are great. The pools are large, there is a long slide in one pool and a lazy river by the other pool. There are pool movies of a night plus fire pits for toasting marshmallows. In the hotel there is a bowling alley and Starbucks. Early entry to Harry Potter and Volcano Bay.
