Outdoor pools in May. Spain

Are the pools warm enough in Spain around 1st week in May?

Majorca at end of May wasn't warm enough for me.
Portaventura water park doesn't open until last week of May which I would think suggests it's not warm enough.
I'd say probably not. Maybe ok if you are further south in Spain or if you aren't as big a wuss as me!

My kids always use pools at end of May in any of the Balearics. For me they need heat.

No too cold as they don't heat them
