Rides for a 6 month old?
Hey, just thinking ahead slightly and was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me which rides across all the Disney parks were suitable for a 6 month old. Got to work out the logistics of who will ride other rides with my dd4 and which rides we might get fastpasses for all the family.
Oh and any tips you might have for taking the 6 month old would be gratefully received too! Thanks |

Off the top of my head
Magic kingdom It's a small world Winnie the Pooh Dumbo? Peter Pan? (Not been on that one but OH says it should be okay) Epcot Nemo Can't remember anymore but if you go on the Disney world website and click on each individual park and then 'attractions' it'll give you age or height restrictions for each ride Edited at 12:17 AM. |

See under Dumbo it says Any Height My son James will be 2 weeks away from being 4 when we go in September and at the moment he's just turned 3, and he's already 102cm which means he can ride Everest I think! I don't think I'll let him though it's a bit scary.

That's really helpful, thanks! Hoping that there are a few that the youngest will be able to go on.
My eldest daughter will be 4 and 1 month when we go in April and she's also 102 cm at the mo but she's a bit of wimp at times! There's no way she'd go on Everest... lol! In fact I'm not even sure I'd go on it again! |

Aw they change so quickly she might surprise you. James used to be fearless but at the moment he's a scardy cat so fingers crossed he gets braver.
First day at nursery tomorrow 😢

Loads to do in MK:
Under the sea with the little mermaid Peter Pan Winnie the Pooh It's a small world Haunted Mansion (we took our 14 month old - he wasn't spooked by it) Tomorrowland People mover Jungle Cruise Basically we took him on anything without a height restriction in MK In Epcot we did... The seas with Nemo and Journey into Imagination. He also enjoyed looking at the aquarium in Epcot In Hollywood Studios there wasn't much for him but he quite liked Disney Junior live on Stage In Animal Kingdom we did the Kilimanjaro Safari Hope that helps |

There is quite a lot you can take a 6 month old on. Our little boy in the summer aswell as those mentioned above went on Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Aladdins Magic Carpets, Under The Sea, People Mover and there is others but my brain has gone to sleep! Everest is 112cm, BTMR is 102cm and so is SM which will be great fun for your 4 year old along with SDMT.

This thread needs updating but it listed all the rides that were suitable for babies a few years ago.

There are over 80 rides for pre school children. This is a link to the Disney site which has hints and tips for preschoolers
disneyworld.disney.go/preschool/ This is the link the to the attractions page. Just use the filter at the top to display all rides with no hight restriction. There is more than you think! disneyworld.disney.go/at.../preschoolers/

Any of the non height restricted ones are fine apart from (imo) teacups and toy story mania (found TSM very jerky).
We did Pirates of Caribbean with our son asleep in baby bjorn.
