Vienna?
Thinking of twinning this on to Budapest(flights back from Budapest are shocking times!).
Is it family friendly and expensive? Any suggestions that would be fab!

We went to Vienna a couple of years ago. Two adults so not sure about children but it felt very safe and we often wandered around in the evening with no worries (2 women). Food was quite expensive but not unlike most capital cities. It is an absolutely beautiful place and somewhere I’d go back to again 😊

Hubby did Budapest and Vienna. He loved both of them. Vienna was more expensive but very beautiful.

Following my friend and I go for the Christmas markets in December. Hoping to go to the Spanish riding school to see the Lipizzaner horses and catch sight of the Klimt paintings in the upper Belvedere gallery too.

We would only be in a Vienna overnight. It all started as the flights bk from Budapest were either extortionate or flying at 6am
The bus is only just under £40 for all of us(or there is the train) to Vienna which I thought was a bargain and flies out at 10 pm so it gives us time to have a little look at least
