If you plan a european holiday next year, hold onto them and change them directly into euros in Euroland.

This is not possible in the uk without going into and out of sterling and you end up with do do.

Bit of a punt, but life is a gamble...

Mick, I feel embarrassed to admit to being short sighted by initially declining your offer, so if it's still on the table I would be happy accepting it in the knowledge that it could positively effect the world currency markets.

We sold our are DVC points a couple of months ago and got a very healthy return due to the £ to the dollar

Sorry Mickey but I've just come back from the trading floor in my pink and green striped jacket and done a deal with someone called George Soros who gave me $1,000 for my £200. He said he knew a bit about currency markets.

I get paid in Dollars & Euros, so, even though I voted to remain, the whole political uncertainty which has affected exchange rates has technically given me a small pay rise.

My local currency shop (Ruislip currency) doesn't make big bucks, but as they say it all adds up (left hand side is buy back price and right side is their selling price):

Have you tried Debenhams they usually have good rates, I have some Euros to take there that belong to the kids, they skint us and have money over. Go figure! 🤔🤦

No chance with their rubbish buy back rate (plus Ruislip currency is down the road):

Because I bought them in Debenhams they said I would get a good buy back rate, but it it’s rubbish I won’t bother!
