With the One and only I have booked packages via both Virgin Hilidays and BA hldiys and also booked direct. If the package is offering good prices for First or Upper (when VS flew to DXB) then I would book that and basic room then telephone Royal Mirage (never email) and haggle an upgrade to the suite I always stay in - basicallly I do a heck of a lot of homework to get the best price and deal I am happy with . At the moment Dubai is incredibly cheap - not necessarily rack rate but there are some serious deals to be had once we are able to fly with confidence. I could stay for 14 nights this February for the price I paid for 5 nights 2 years ago (both that i would stay for 14 nights lol)
