QS vegetarian options

I'm a big fan of some of the Disney QS places, but next time we go, I'll be vegetarian. I've had a look at all the park and Disney Springs QS menus and the offering seems to be really poor, with maybe just a single option. Even most of the salads contain meat. I'm sure I can ask for one without meat, but I begrudge paying the same, especially now we're paying oop for all of our food.

Also, a lot of the menus seem to have become very streamlined from what I recall from our last trip. Do you think this is a covid/reduced capacity thing, and that they'll increase the menus again once things are back to normal?

I'd love to hear the experience of other vegetarians eating at Disney QS places

I’m not a massive fan of Disney veggie options really. Satuuli canteen is excellent.

We love the tomato soup with toasted cheese sandwich at Woody’s lunchbox (even in the August heat!) also agree about Satuli Canteen and I had some delicious hummus and veg sticks from Animal Kingdom too, which was a great snack.

I'm not strictly vegetarian, but I probably eat veggie about 80% of the time so always looking for new things to try. The Vegan Disney World blog is really good for showing options.

It does seem like they've streamlined the menus a bit, not sure if it's going to be permanent or not. But shortly before Covid, they were rolling out vegan options to every dining location so there should always be something available. It seems to be a beyond/impossible burger about half the time though.

I've looked at all the QS park menus and there are only veggie 3 burgers in total! 2 x Impossible and 1 x plant based. I was quite shocked by that. I've never been a burger eater anyway, so they're not for me, but my husband will enjoy them. I do hope they expand the menus again over the coming year though🤞

Thank you. I couldn't see that on the menu, but looking into it further, it looks like it's one of the options for the taco trio. Can you remember if it was smokey or bbq flavoured at all, as that's one flavour I really don't like?

I don't doubt your dining expertise but I've definitely seen more than 3 burgers on the menus. Maybe they were mostly at the resorts? I'm pretty sure most locations will be able to sub out a standard burger for the veggie patty if he wants them though.

I was vegan a few years ago, before it was trendy and therefore readily available. So I'm very used to only having a side salad and fries. Once (not at Disney) I was served just a plate of broccoli. Having a dedicated section on the menu seems like a huge amount of choice by comparison, even if there's only one thing there.

I'm sure there were before but I literally sat and went through every menu yesterday to get and idea of the options available and that was it! Cosmic Ray's, Restaurantosaurus and ABC Commissary. There were a lot of other dishes that we've had over the years that were gone too and a much more limited choice overall. That's why I was wondering if they might have streamlined them temporarily due to limited capacity?
We don't go until next September, so plenty of time for it to change, but I was just surprised at what's on offer at present.

Edit: sorry, there are 4 burgers as there's the Regal Eagle in Epcot which I've never actually heard of! Must have missed the opening of that one.
