Packing Cubes
Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm thinking about investing in some packing cubes, just to keep the room a little tidier than the chaos it normally is! I've seen some cheap sets on ebay, are these as good as the more expensive ones on Amazon? Does anyone have any recommendations? |

I just got cheap ones to see if I liked them - they were around £5 per set of 5. Love them, bought a different colour for each member of the family. I have used them on about half a dozen trips so far and they are still going strong. I'm just a bit careful not to over pack them and pull the zips gently.

There was a thread I posted on about a week ago regarding the difference in quality.
I bought some cheap ones from eBay about 3 years ago, then bought some from Amazon a year later. The eBay ones were nowhere near as good quality as the ones from Amazon. The zips broke on the cheaper ones and the seams started to come apart on a couple of them too. I’ve ended up throwing the cheap ones and buying another set of the dearer ones. I feel like you definitely get what you pay for. Will find you the link to the previous thread, which you may find helpful. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1062424

I’ve got both the cheaper ones from eBay and the better ones, the better ones are called ebags and they are definitely stronger the eBay ones seem quite fragile

I got two sets from amazon, blue with black zips. With 3 kids, they were fab, they each had a large cube with all their clothes. We’ve used them a few times, and lent them out, they seem good quality.

Another ebags user here - have had them for about five years and they still look brand new. I feel like cubes were only just becoming a thing then so there weren't as many knock offs to choose from. At the time, ebags were the knock offs of Eagle Creek. Which funnily enough, I had a couple of and didn't rate nearly as highly! Their shirt packer was good for DH's work trips, he's moved jobs and doesn't need that now though.

I invested in some last year, got them from Amazon and as long as you are gentle and don't over-pack them, they seem really good quality. I think I paid around £8 a set (of 5) and got a blue set and a peach set.
I LOVED THEM! They were invaluable last year as we went from AOA to DCL to Universal's Royal Pacific Resort to POFQ, all within a 3 week period! I was able to keep specific outfits together for each destination, plus all undies in one place, unlike when I normally just shove them in anywhere to fill up small spaces and then can't find them again without emptying the cases!

Thank you all!
I've decided to get a cheapish set off eBay, and test them out for various weekends I have before September. If I love them, I'll invest in a more hardwearing set for Disney |
