Ford Expedition MAX premium 7 seater... Will it take 5 people / 6 cases?
Hi, we have booked this premium 7 seater car for our road trip this summer. We normally have a Dodge Caravan for the five of us which with one seat lowered at the back fits in all our luggage. I'd just like any reassurance that we will get five large suitcases in this category of car plus a holdall bag? Happy to put a seat down as well. Will it be ok?

It will cope with 5 people and 6 cases easily. I believe we've had 5 people, 8 cases and 5 pieces of hand luggage in one before.

We hired an Expedition with 6 adults,coped fine.

The MAX is literally enormous, over 18 feet long and hugely wide also. We had one last year, it will easily fit 3 large child seats in the back with room to spare, so definitely no bother for 3 adults to fit. With the rear most row of seats folded the boot is absolutely huge too so a load of cases will fit in fine.
Just don't expect it to be a rocketship to drive - considering it has a V6 twin turbo engine with over 400bhp it's pretty slow so you have to have your wits about you when pulling into fast traffic. |
