Turkey in April
We are booked to go to Bodrum for a week in early April, we have never been before and while I realise the temperature won't be scorching, I think (hope!) it will be warmer than here. I have googled it a fair bit and around 17-21 degrees seems to be the average. But what sort of clothes should we take? Obviously some shorts and t shirts but will we need jackets for evening? Trousers? Socks? Presumably 17 degrees in Turkey doesn't feel the same as 17 degrees in scotland?! Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has been then.

We have been to Antalya a few times in April and the weather has been lovely.Mostly sunny in the low to mid 20's.Very pleasant to sit out.It can get a bit chilly in the evenings and we have always found the water in the outdoor pools to be cold!

We were in belek early April a few years ago. Every day was warm except for 1 day when it rained. At night I just wore a card I and was fine.

We're going to Belek on 1st May for a week, taking a 2 year old who loves to swim, will the pools and sea be too cold for him?
