Play areas?!
Do any of the hotels have play areas?
We are staying at sequoia lodge and will be arriving at about lunchtime. My husband will have driven from Dover, after having done a 3-4 hour drive the night before and I know from previous experience he will want a snooze/rest when we check in to the hotel (it pains me every time as I’m dying to hit the park!) so I want to take the kids away to let off some steam and give him an hour to chill but don’t want to go into the park without him so a play area or something would be ideal. |

Sequoia has a small area near the bar. Colouring, giant connect 4, tablet table, my 3 year old loved it, 10 yo not so much. There’s also chess, made into a table, you get the pieces from behind the bar. There’s pool tables also (€4 a game)

Thank you, my kids are 4 & 18 months so most of that sounds ideal for them 👍🏻

Sequoia also has a swimming pool which is good but a little cold imho. Take the shuttle bus to other hotels and have a walk about them, the theming is nice in the cheyenne. Go have a walk around the disneyland hotel too.
Or tell OH to drink coffee and get with the programme i cant honestly say I havent done that in the past . Plus at lunchtime there is the distinct possibility your room wont be ready. Edited at 09:09 AM. |

Good point about the room possibly not being ready, I will warn him of that.
I’ll still let him have his chill out though, it’s his holiday too after all! And we are there from lunchtime Sunday to lunchtime Thursday so plenty of time. |
