We find the water on Bokeelia undrinkable without going thro our Brita first, even then if the water is left standing and becomes tepid the taste/smell of chlorine returns. Greater Pine Island Water Association splashed a load of chlorine in yesterday pm as our water was minging for over 24 hours.
It was suggested to me years ago that the differing taste between our fizzy drinks and the US may be due to the water.

100% agree! I love Pepsi here in the UK but I find the US version absolutely disgusting. Not sure what the difference is in the recipe but it’s got such a bizarre taste.
I thought I was the only one who thought this! I’ll only drink coke when I’m in America. |
