Virgin reward flights
So I have just returned from another trip. I have never redeemed virgin miles and thinking next time we go this may be worth doing. Now myself and my DH may have enough miles to book 2 flights each. Can you book a seat for someone else under reward seats or is it just for you? Thinking about booking for DS & DD) I looked into companion seats but that would mean booking a more expensive seat? Hope that makes sens? TIA

I think, (but don’t know for sure) that if you both have miles you may be able to phone Flying Club and pool the miles to do it as one booking, rather than two separate bookings on your individual memberships. You both need to be available for the call to FC

Just to note that usually you have to use equal amounts of miles from each account. For example, if your two flights are 90k miles, then it’s 45k miles from each account.
However, the VA Flying Club team are extremely helpful. On both occasions I have booked flights, they have moved miles between accounts at no extra charge. Worth also noting that if a good cash price comes up, you can always book these fares and cancel your VA Reward booking for a fee for each flight (was around £35/flight). A few years ago, we got excellent U/C flight prices MAN-ATL-JAX so were able to cancel our VA miles flights.

Thanks, we have enough for our own flights but want to know if we are able to book an extra one each for our DS & DD.
However having now reallised we have enough for a Premium flight each, we may get them an economy cash seat next time instead By the way they are adults not little ones-thats a whole new thread
