My mum passed away age 57 at the start of 2016. Forget me nots were one of her favourite flowers.
We had the same style forget me not's as you have shared in your link printed with a message. It was lovely seeing ours and my mums friends sharing photos on FB in the late spring (or it could of been the following spring) of their forget me nots starting bloom and also for those who don't do FB etc, it's a little simple reminder which raises a smile when they spot a FMN. We added a little piece into the service and handed them out there and took the spares to the wake incase anyone who didn't attend either got chance to get some. Edited at 09:17 PM. |

I've seen these at funerals. Also seen book.marks which were quite nice to remember the person

This is a beautiful idea. At a funeral last year we were all given tealights in the persons favorite colour and scent to burn that evening, I thought that was lovely too.
I don’t think a favour is expected but I think when as thoughtful as your idea will be very well received and no one will think it’s weird. I also want to say I’m sorry for your loss xx

I think it’s a lovely idea 👍
I went to the funeral of someone who loved doing jigsaws and everyone who attended was given a piece. |
