Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - No dates

Hi All,

Since Disney has had issues with the site - Akershus is showing 0 availability for ANY dates between now and 180 days. I've tried for breakfast & dinner time for 2 guests for every day. Is this an error on their site or is something changing at Akershus? There was plenty of times available only a few days ago.

Only worried as tomorrow is 180 days for us doing Epcot.

Hi, I've not read anything about any changes to Akershus and it does seem strange that there's no availability all of a sudden. I would check online at 11am sharp and, if there's still no reservations showing, phone Disney on 0800 16 90 748 at 12noon to see if they can either make a reservation for you or tell you why there's nothing available.

I'd phone tomorrow if no availability showing... MDE can be temperamental - sometimes I've not been able to bool on my laptop but have had success with the app on my phone...

Thanks both. Looks like there was also issue with Garden Grill today so guessing an issue with the site. Hopefully it will be backup tomorrow.

It has been there as you say, I'd say it's a glitch but it's the end of the food and wine and Veterans Day is on the weekend so it's going to be busier . I'd ring for definate either tonight to ask if it's a glitch or tomorrow to book it if you can.

Well I rang this morning - No times free. I've checked every day between 18/05/2017 - 13/11/2017. No Breakfast,lunch or dinner free for 2 people (lowered from 5 just to check) but they don't think its a glitch - just very popular. Guess I will just keep trying.

Never heard of Akershus being THAT popular.

I'd say just keep trying or set up a reservation finder tool so it alerts you when one comes up.

I have made my own tool, runs every 10 minutes. Only way I could check so fast all 180 days for the 3 different times. I've never seen it that popular. I mean there are even cancellations for BOG and CRT and thats a lot harder to get.

We are looking at booking Arkershus for the first candlelight processional on the 25th Nov so fingers crossed there is availability. However, when i spoke to Disney today they said that they reserve the candlelight dining packages so they cannot be booked by normal reservations, so if you are there after the 25th Nov you could always book the dining package if you cant get in.
