We were looking at BA but found into Fort Lauderdale / out of MCO in school holidays with Norwegian for £562 each. Such a decent price for a direct flight we felt we couldn't walk away. I've been reading some positive reviews about the flight and the service. We're just going to pay for the cases we need.

Norwegian quality of plane flight staff far better than BA from our experience.

I flew home with Norwegian last year and they were good, on a par with virgin but half the price!

We are flying Norwegian for the first time at Xmas so fingers crossed. We usually fly Virgin but just got back from LA flying with BA. BA definitely not as good as Virgin - you notice the few things they have cut back on, and the staff looked like they couldn't be bothered to be there.

We have booked with them for next July and like the flight times. Leaves Gatwick at 4pm which means we can drive down on the day and not have to stay overnight at airport and a 10.10pm return flight time which means we get a whole day before going home and, hopefully, being during sleep time we will get some rest.
Also loved that we could book seats during booking process and not have to wait.

Norwegian were great going out and back. Much nicer than Virgin imo. BUT, we did have to wait 9 days , for repatriation flight following cancellation due to Irma. Their after care was poor, to say the least. No help in REALLY trying yo get you home, due to frequency/capacity limitations. Only thanks to DW scrolling everyday on Norwegian website, did we find a flight back on Weds. We phoned, they changed. Why didn't THEY do this.
So, great prices, great planes, great on board staff. Less than great after care.
Your decision. Trying to leave a balanced perspective.

Norwegian every time for us...
Next flight in 11 days !..Much better value that Virgin, ive found its & better service than BA, yes , its £50 each on top of flights, but that covers seat reservation of your choice , hold luggage and food & and its still way cheaper ! I also prefer the Norwegian 787 Dreamliner,as an Asthmatic, you get fresh air ( I think they leave a window open ) also less jet lag due to fresh air .
Enjoy !

Each to their own, but we actually would choose the norwegian flight times! We like the afternoon flight out as then we can choose whether we stay overnight at the airport, rather than it being a necessity- (we are a four hour drive from Gatwick, which is our nearest airport usually for direct orlando flights). We would also always choose a late night flight home, as we've worked out we sleep much better on a flight if we get on at 'bedtime'

As a prev poster stated - the Dreamliner is awesome and certainly for me, it conquered my jet lag completely! Usually it takes me over a week to get back to regular sleep (im usually awake until at least 2am and then I struggle getting up) - this time with NA I went to sleep at 10pm the first night home and awoke at my regular 7am! Fantastic!

I too chose Norwegian for the price this time (BA and Virgin would always have been my first choices - although Virgin priced themselves out of my range a few years back now!), but having flown NA, where the cleanliness of the plane and friendliness of the crew was far superior to anything ive had on the other two, I'd now opt for Norwegian even if prices were equal!
